| Project WebTime
(PWT)
Web-based access to a resource’s schedule is crucial for rapid, up-to-the-minute, on-time delivery of services. In addition, software needs to provide ease of use and “one-stop shopping” type access. Project WebTime was developed with these two requirements in mind. Now, in one easy-to-use Business Portal application, users can review their current and future scheduled activities at the same time as they enter their daily timecard.
Features:
There are many other enhancements over standard SL timecard entry – some are:
- Support for flexible time periods - biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly, any time period desired.
- Enter total daily hours once – no multiple entries for bill/non-bill or overtime.
- All notes fields are below the data entry grid – in the same window.
- PREP step notes are also displayed for quick reference.
Each user can configure Project WebTime for their particular needs. Here are some of those user-specific options:
- Number of days (past and future) that are visible in the grid.
- Inclusion of plan and inactive projects (to view resource schedule).
- Set the decimal places to record time.
- Show/Hide weekends
- Show/Hide completed tasks/steps
- Control whether non-billable and/or overtime hours are allowed.
- Determine values to give warnings when steps are late or over budget.
*Project WebTime was purchased by Microsoft on March 11, 2008. It will be included in the SL7 FP1 release of the Project Self-Serve pack from Microsoft."
