URGENT NOTICE: Attention all eBanking users
This notice only applies to users of Sandler-Kahne Software's eBanking Suite - and only involves the AP-EFT and Wire Transfer Plus modules. Additionally, it only affects you if your eBanking version is v8.5.x or (your version can be found at the lower right corner of your eBanking Setup screen - DD.950.00.
If you are using any module in v8.5.x of the eBanking Suite, please continue reading. Otherwise, disregard the rest of this message.
The Issue:
We've found an issue with Adjustment Debits when processed through the eBanking Payment Selection Filter (DD.520.00). With this v8.5 release these AD transactions are being added to the vouchers (rather than subtracted) , thus erroneously increasing the resultant check/EFT amount.
The Resolution:
We've posted an updated eBanking release on our website - v8.6.0-xxxx. Please download and install - as this resolves the problem. Customers can get the download from their reseller, or contact Ralph Spice directly (x116, rwspice@sksoft.com).
In our 15 year history, this is only the second recall we've had to make. We strive to provide quality software and aim to not have these type issues, as we know how disruptive they can be.
